Utfix requires a valid Shopify account and the permissions needed for the feature being used.

FREE APPRAISAL

The appraisal starts with minimum supported read access. It does not use that permission as authority to repair the store.

REPAIRS

Some repairs require additional Shopify permissions or access to a supported supplier, carrier, advertising channel or other service. If access is not granted, Utfix shows the resulting coverage or repair limitation.

MERCHANT CONTROL

The merchant chooses whether to approve optional access and repair work. Utfix will not treat a permission that has not been granted as if it exists.

DATA HANDLING

Utfix is designed to use the minimum store and operational information needed to provide supported diagnostics, repair proposals, approved repairs, verification, monitoring, Credit records and audit evidence.

Utfix does not treat access to store information as permission to make changes. Read access and repair authority are separate.

Where additional access is required for a supported feature or repair, Utfix explains what is needed and the merchant decides whether to grant it.
